Central Government Scholarships

  • The scholarship of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi is available for merit holders.
  • Junior Research Fellowship of U.G.C. A limited number of fellowships are available to NET and JRF cleared students by UGC & UGC-CSIR.
  • The scholarship is available for only merit holders of Science students sponsored by DST. Website: www.inspire-dst.gov.in
  • National Loan Scholarship It is available to Indian students through the Government of Rajasthan. Those students who have secured 50% and above marks in the last eligibility exam.
  • N.C.C. Scholarship A special scholarship is granted by Cadet Welfare Society to the third year students who have completed two year N.C.C. training with 65% and above in Science or 55% and above in Arts/Commerce faculty. SC/ST students get relaxation of 5% for scholarship and weightage of 10% bonus marks for determining the merit for admission. The application forms are made available after notification in local newspapers in July. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 5000 p.a.
  • Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship is available. Website : www.srif.org
  • All the students of TSP region can avail the economic incentives from Tribal Area Department, Govt. of Rajasthan.

State Government Scholarships

  • Scholarship payable by Social Justice & Rights Department
    • (a) For students belonging to S.C./ S.T./ O.B.C./ S.B.C. and nomadic tribes
    • (b) For disabled students (handicapped, deaf, dumb and blind)

  • Chief Minister Scholarship This is available to those regular students who have passed the Senior Secondary Exam in the first attempt with a minimum of 60% marks as a regular student from RBSE board. Website: www.collegeeducation.rajasthan.gov.in or www.dce.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Scholarship is available to a regular student dependent on deceased Rajasthan Government servant (mother or father who passed away during service tenure).
  • Daughters/ Grand daughters of freedom- fighters/ political sufferers can apply for scholarship. If they have passed the previous class as regular student in first attempt.
  • The scholarship of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer is available for merit holders. Website: www.rajeduboard.nic.in
  • Scholarships to daughters of teachers is available who secure 60% and above marks at Senior Secondary Exam.
  • Scholarship to daughters of deceased / disabled soldiers in Indo-Pak or Indo-China war is payable on Entitlement Card.

Note:

  • The students who obtain merit position in 10+2 exams or higher marks can get financial assistance.
  • The students are granted scholarships who have poor economic capacity for higher studies or have any other disability or are physically handicapped.
  • Scholarships are also conferred to the outstanding sports persons or outstanding N.C.C. cadets.
  • The students of this college who scores the highest position/marks in the final year exam of UG and PG are awarded medal along with proficiency certificate.
  • Students are advised to apply timely for the state and central government scholarships under various categories in prescribed application forms.
